Mini Zen

In 2015 Jeremy Hara made “Mini Zen”, which is a miniature Zen garden diorama. It is based on the memory of a place versus the actual place. Jeremy visited to a Zen garden in Little Tokyo in Los Angeles. It is a garden he went to as a child. He had remembered the garden much bigger than it was in reality. The diorama represents the “larger” Zen garden of Jeremy’s childhood memory.
